The role

You will be at &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; heart of our library's daily operations, ensuring a welcoming environment for all users from &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Library Welcome Desk. Your role will involve assisting in-person with general user access and lending tasks, including greeting visitors and supporting membership procedures. You'll provide guidance on accessing resources, collections, and services, offer support for digital resources and printing services. Additionally, you'll address information enquiries, library account queries, book retrieval and help manage our learning spaces, ensuring a positive and inclusive library experience for everyone.

The post holder will work on campus afternoon and evening hours, Monday to Friday, throughout &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; year. The expected working pattern is 16:00 - midnight but &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;re may be some flexibility on an individual basis (please speak to Ca&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;rine Batson?c.batson@surrey.ac.uk?if you would like to discuss this).

About you

We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, who can deal with multiple enquiries at our busy Library Welcome Desk as well as online.?

You will be proactive, well organised, reliable and a be a great communicator, delivering services with a smile. You will be able to work independently, have good IT skills, and be &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; main point of contact for any issues that arise.

Applications are invited for &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; part-time post of Senior Teaching Fellow BM5 BM5 Primary Care (PC) Clinical Practice (CP) 1 and 2 deputy Module Lead, to join &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Medical Education Unit in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Faculty of Medicine. You are an accomplished academic in Clinical Pharmacy with


	PhD in Pharmacy or relevant discipline
	Proven track record of excellence and leadership in university-level teaching, curriculum design, and pedagogical innovation, especially within clinical pharmacy contexts.
	Distinguished record of leadership roles in quality clinical teaching at undergraduate, postgraduate and/or professional entry level.
	An established record of course coordination and in leading &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; development and continuous innovation of new programs, curriculum design and course material in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; discipline area.
	Outstanding reputation and international profile in Clinical Pharmacy, Quality use of Medicines and/or Pharmacy Practice based research, demonstrated through high-impact publications, citations, and grant success.
	Maintained success in attracting significant competitive research funding as lead investigator.
	Exceptional record as a Principal Supervisor, guiding HDR students to successful and timely completion.
	Evidenced leadership capabilities within an academic or professional setting.

	Singapore Citizen??
	Recently completed postdoctoral training??
	Excellent academic record plus a high degree of proficiency and motivation for a research area that is strongly aligned with SIT’s supported areas?
	Strong passion for teaching, research and an academic career


Benefits

Awardees may receive research grants to help build a competitive research portfolio. Upon completion of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; award, awardees will be considered for Assistant Professorship.

Awardees will also be assigned a faculty mentor for &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; duration of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; scheme.

Application Process


	Applications are open throughout &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; year. Applications received before 15 January 2026 will be considered for &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; 2026 intake.?
	Interview by &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; respective clusters for shortlisted applicants will be conducted throughout &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; year.?
	Final Interview by Panel for shortlisted applicants will take place from March to April 2026.
	Awards for &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; 2026 intake will be finalised by July 2026.

	Diagnostic Radiography:?Radiography involves &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; controlled use of ionising radiation, radioactive substances and non-ionising radiation to produce diagnostic quality images of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; human body, facilitating &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; diagnosis and treatment of patients (Allied Health Professions Act 2011).
	Dietetics:?Dietetics involves &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; management of medical conditions and promotion of health through application of food and nutrition. Dietitians provide medical nutrition &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;rapy and implement specific diet strategies for chronic medical conditions, illnesses, or injuries (Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association).
	Nursing:?Registered nurses render health services to individuals, families, and communities (Singapore Nursing Board Code for Nurses and Midwives 2018).
	Speech and Language Therapy:?Speech and Language Therapy involves assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of communication and swallowing disorders (Allied Health Professions Act 2011).
	Occupational Therapy:?Occupational &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;rapy involves assessment and interventions to work or school, self-care, leisure or play, physical environments as well as cognitive, mental and physical components of function to enable individuals affected by physical injury or illness, developmental or learning disabilities, psychosocial dysfunctions or &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; aging process, to engage in everyday life occupations in order to maximise independent performance of life roles, prevent disability and maintain health (Allied Health Professions Act 2011).
	Physio&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;rapy:?Physio&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;rapy involves assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of pain, injury, or any o&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r physical dysfunction, through &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; use of education, exercise, manual &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;rapy, electro-physical agents, technology or any o&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r treatment for those purposes (Allied Health Professions Act 2011).
