About You

The Associate Professor will provide leadership and foster excellence in teaching and research efforts of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; School and within &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; University. More specifically, &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Associate Professor is expected to make innovative and distinguished contributions to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; School's profile at a national and international level in areas relevant to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;ir discipline (Management/Leadership/Organisational Behaviour).

The Associate Professor will make a significant contribution to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; planning and strategic direction of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; School, taking on strategic academic leadership roles for learning and teaching or research and scholarship. Their leadership may involve participation in various committees within &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; School, College and University and external to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; University, as appropriate.

To be successful in this position, you will have as a minimum:


	Demonstrated superior ability to direct an award program/s and implement program improvements and innovative approaches to student-centred learning and quality improvement programs.
	Nationally recognised research track record including substantial record of research outputs in high quality outlets and emerging international recognition.
	Extensive experience in research leadership with &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; ability to attract and secure external research funding to sustain research effort and manage funded research projects including complex budgets and reporting requirements.
	Extensive experience in building and developing collaborative research teams, and mentoring academic staff to deliver high quality outcomes.
	Extensive experience in supervising higher degree by research candidates to maximise research
	Demonstrated ability to lead scholarly development and manage and supervise academic teams and members.
	Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to financial, governance and quality management systems within a University.
	Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills including &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; ability to consult with senior executives, external bodies, produce executive reports, negotiate agreed directions, outcomes and targets within a collaborative environment.
	Proven ability as an effective member of a management team that develops and achieves shared goals and objectives

Our research explores areas such as leadership and followership, ethics, emotions, personality and individual differences, humour in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; workplace, feedback, cognitive processes, and &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; role of play at work. We investigate how &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;se factors influence motivation, creativity, performance, team dynamics, and organisational culture in diverse settings.
	IDEA Issues - Our research advances Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access (IDEA) agenda across a range of organisational and societal context on topics such as migrant experience, human rights in business, cross-cultural management, and intersectionality of social identities. Our work also addresses issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, individuals from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds, and o&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r structurally marginalised or underrepresented communities.
	Social Impact - We generate positive social impacts through research that informs responsible policy and practice in areas related to work, employment, and societal wellbeing. Our research addresses issues such as workplace health and safety, sustainable business practices, corporate social responsibility (CSR), public health and care management, labour markets, and trade unions. We also explore emerging &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;mes such as regenerative futures and just transitions in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; context of energy and environmental change, with a focus on enhancing social equity and long-term sustainability.
	Technology for Humanity - Focusing on &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; human side of technology, we explore how tech-enabled innovations can be effectively managed to improve work, learning, wellbeing at &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; individual, team, and organisational levels. You will take a leading role in securing &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Secure Data Research Environment, providing specialist expertise in information and cyber security to protect sensitive research data and ensure compliance with security standards. What you’ll do

· Work with colleagues from &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; University to Lead efforts for &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Secure Data Research Environments Cyber Security accreditations (e.g., Cyber Essentials/Plus, ISO/IEC 27001), coordinating audits, managing documentation, and implementing remedial actions.

· Provide support in maintaining security operations by managing and updating security policies and procedures, conducting vulnerability assessments, and implementing security patches and updates.

· Oversee remediation of risks from security scans and tests, ensuring alignment with risk appetite before production. Conduct risk assessments for on-premise and cloud-hosted solutions, identifying control gaps and residual risks using frameworks (e.g., CIS Top 18, NIST Cyber Security Framework, ISO 27001).

· Lead on efforts relating to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Secure Data Research Environments Cyber Security accreditations, including Cyber Essentials/Plus and ISO/IEC 27001.

· Provide expert guidance on policies, standards, industry regulations, and best practices. Offer consultation on Secure by Design principles and information assurance. Develop IA strategies, policies, and awareness programs.

· Identify, analyse, and evaluate information risks across various projects and systems. Communicate &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; causes, likelihood, and impacts of information risks to stakeholders.

· Maintain awareness of evolving cyber security and regulatory landscapes to inform risk management and governance.

What you’ll bring:

· Experience of information and cyber security within a large organisation.

· Knowledge of current information and cyber security issues and opportunities, including knowledge of security frameworks.

· Experience of with security tooling, particularly within a mixed Windows, Linux, Mac and Cloud environment.

Description

The Public Health Research Center (PHRC) at New York University Abu Dhabi is seeking a Research Assistant Bioinformatician with experience in population genetics and machine learning to join its team. The ideal candidate will have experience in bioinformatics, whole-genome sequencing data analysis and predictive modelling. The role offers &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; opportunity to work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary research environment alongside epidemiologists, geneticists and computational biologists. The PHRC is focused on understanding &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; factors influencing health outcomes and traits related to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; most common non-communicable diseases in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; UAE. This is achieved by investigating and integrating diverse data sources, including epidemiological, clinical, genetic, and multi-omic data. The Vietnamese-German University (VGU) is seeking a highly qualified full-time lecturer in IC Design and Computer Architecture. Candidates must hold a PhD in this field or a closely related field with a strong research background. Relevant international experience is an advantage. The successful candidate will become part of an international network of universities and research institutes.

Teaching Responsibilities

In &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; role of a lecturer, &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; successful candidate will teach graduate courses in MCS and undergraduate courses in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; CSE bachelor program.
