Waynesburg University is a private Christian institution near Pennsylvania’s south-westerly border with West Virginia. It is one of 바카라사이트 best value liberal arts colleges in 바카라사이트 region.
The university is named after soldier-turned-politician Anthony Wayne, who served as a brigadier in 바카라사이트 American Revolutionary War and was later appointed general in chief of 바카라사이트 US Army by President Washington. As well as its Waynesburg campus, 45 miles from Pittsburgh, 바카라사이트 nearest major city, and 바카라사이트 state’s second largest, 바카라사이트 university also boasts adult centres of education in 바카라사이트 nearby town of Canonsburg, Monroeville, just east of Pittsburgh, and Cranberry, which is in 바카라사이트 north of 바카라사이트 state.
Albert Baird Cummins, a former US senator and governor of Iowa who twice sought 바카라사이트 Republican Party presidential nomination, and Edward Martin, a war veteran who was Pennsylvania senator and governor during 바카라사이트 1940s and 50s, are both Waynesburg alumni.
