Research Responsibilities?

As a faculty member of a research-oriented university, &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; successful candidate is?expected to significantly contribute to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; scientific profile of VGU through innovation.?This includes and is not limited to comprehensive activities in basic research as well as?applied research in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; fields of distributed systems and high-performance computing.?The ability to apply and generate externally funded research projects is highly?desirable.?

Administrative responsibilities?

The successful candidate is expected to contribute to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; development of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Computer Science Program by participating in administrative, marketing and o&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r public activities of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; program in consultation with &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Academic Coordinator of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; study program and &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; German partner university, namely Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. Qualification

Candidates must hold a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field, preferably from a well-known international university. A current title of Professor will be a plus, as will experience and understanding of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; German higher education system and methodology. 	?Proven expertise in edge computing, load balancing, parallelism, virtual?machine technologies and distributed file systems?

	Proven teaching experience with strong self-motivation combined with a passion?for teaching and research?

Discipline of Medical Radiations

The discipline of Medical Radiations contributes to teaching and research in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; fields of Medical Imaging, Radiation Therapy, and Nuclear Medicine, in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; School of Health and Biomedical Sciences. The undergraduate program enables graduates to be eligible for registration to practice as Radiographers, Radiation Therapists, or Nuclear Medicine Technologists in Australia under AHPRA.

These posts are created specifically to bring new impetus and talent to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; University’s research enterprise, and to meet &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; strategic research needs identified by &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Department of Microbiology. Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree with extensive research experience in virology or biochemistry; expertise in virus-host proteome and antiviral drug development will be an advantage.?The appointees will conduct research projects related to influenza virus and coronavirus under &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; supervision of Dr. Shuofeng Yuan.
