As a VE, Teacher specialising in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, you will focus on teaching course content, evaluating student performance and competency, and overseeing students in various courses within &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Future Technologies cluster. You will be at &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; forefront of ensuring &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; students' ability to ensure safety and reliability of aviation technology, inspections and diagnostics of aircraft systems, and staying up to date with &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; latest advancements in aviation technology.

To be successful in this position, you'll have:


	Effective interpersonal and communication skills relevant to teaching and consultancy environments. This includes effective presentation and facilitation skills, and in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; use of flexible teaching methods.
	Demonstrated skills and experience in competency-based assessment related to aircraft maintenance engineering. For example: WHS procedures, self-management, technical communication, computer applications, aircraft configuration, engineering materials, ma&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;matical applications, environmental sustainability, maintenance supervision, airworthiness management.

	Experience in relevant industry, and substantial discipline knowledge as it relates to this position.

About you

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced individual with project management experience. Experience of working in HE is also an advantage. The Vietnamese-German University (VGU) is seeking a highly qualified full-time lecturer in IC Design and Computer Architecture. Candidates must hold a PhD in this field or a closely related field with a strong research background. Relevant international experience is an advantage. The successful candidate will become part of an international network of universities and research institutes.

Teaching Responsibilities

The successful candidate is expected to contribute to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; development of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Computer Science Program by participating in administrative, marketing and o&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r public activities of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; program in consultation with &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Academic Coordinator of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; study program and &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; German partner university, namely Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. She or he is also expected to contribute actively to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; academic self administration of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Faculty of Engineering and university by being willing to stand for election to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Faculty Council, Academic Senate and/or o&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r bodies.

Qualification

Candidates must hold a PhD in Computer Engineering or a closely related field, preferably from a well-known international university. A current title of Professor will be a plus, as will experience and understanding of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; German higher education system and methodology. O&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r requirements include:


	An outstanding academic record with a focus on IC design and system on chip?or o&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r areas closely related to it?
	Proven expertise in design for testability, verification techniques, gate array,?design partitioning and SoC integration of components ??
	Strong track record of successful research activities and publications in?international and peer-reviewed journals in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; related area?
	Proven teaching experience with strong self-motivation combined with a passion?for teaching and research?
	Experience in industry is an advantage ?
	Proven excellent English proficiency:?
	Candidates who are from non-native English-speaking countries should include?one of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; following valid English proficiency certificates; IELTS 6.5, TOEFL?548(PBT), TOEFL 84 (iBT), TOEFL 212 (CBT), CEFR level B2 or Aptis level?C1 at &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; time of application submission.
