Yagshigeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas was originally founded in 2012 as 바카라사이트 Turkmen State Institute of Oil and Gas. A year later 바카라사이트 institute gained full university status and was renamed 바카라사이트 International University of Oil and Gas. In 2019 바카라사이트 university’s name changed again to honour Yagshygeldi Kakayev, a Turkmen politician and energy executive.
The university is located in Ashgabat, 바카라사이트 capital and largest city of Turkmenistan.
There are seven faculties at 바카라사이트 university: oil and gas, geology, chemical technology and ecology, energy and engineering facilities, economics and management, petroleum industry, and digital technologies and cyber security. Each faculty is divided into different departments offering a number of undergraduate degree programmes.
The department of graduate studies was established in 2013 and currently offers nine postgraduate and two doctoral degree programmes (geology, exploration and searching of oil and gas fields and development and use of oil and gas fields).
The university is home to three research centres that facilitate various academic and scientific research projects throughout 바카라사이트 year. These include 바카라사이트 Innovative Scientific and Educational Centre, 바카라사이트 Research and Educational Centre, and 바카라사이트 Hydrogen Energy Centre.
