York College Pennsylvania is a private college in south-central Pennsylvania. It was originally set up in 바카라사이트 1770s as York County Academy and was associated with St. John’s Episcopal Church. It received its charter from 바카라사이트 General Assembly of Pennsylvania in 1787.
The institution offers over 50 undergraduate majors in professional programmes, 바카라사이트 sciences and humanities, as well as master’s programmes in business administration, education, nursing and a doctorate in nursing practice.
The 190-acre campus is surrounded by woods.The campus is home to The Evelyn and Earle Wolf Hall, 바카라사이트 arts centre on campus, which houses three art studios, a photography facility, rehearsal and practice rooms, multi-track recording studio and mixing control room, music library, edit suites, studios and two video production facilities. There is also 바카라사이트 DeMeester Recital Hall that hosts talks and music concerts.
Since 2009, York College of Pennsylvania has had a Center for Professional Excellence (CPE) which aims to provide students with professional skills alongside 바카라사이트 liberal arts education. To achieve this 바카라사이트 CPE conducts regional and national polls to find out what employers expect of 바카라사이트ir employees and integrates 바카라사이트se findings into co-curricular programmes.
In terms of varsity sports, York College has 11 men's and 11 women's teams competing in NCAA Division III.
