	Experience and knowledgeable in one or more areas of supply chain operations management, risk management and operations research, such as demand forecasting, inventory control, procurement, manufacturing, distribution, warehouse and transportation simulation, optimization and management.

About You

As a Lecturer, Medical Radiation Science (Nuclear Medicine), you'll play a key part in program delivery, curriculum development, and academic leadership within your area of practice.

The School of Health and Biomedical Sciences is comprised of three Academic areas, Allied Health, Applied Health, and Biomedical Sciences. Discipline of Medical Radiations

The discipline of Medical Radiations contributes to teaching and research in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; fields of Medical Imaging, Radiation Therapy, and Nuclear Medicine, in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; School of Health and Biomedical Sciences. The undergraduate program enables graduates to be eligible for registration to practice as Radiographers, Radiation Therapists, or Nuclear Medicine Technologists in Australia under AHPRA.

The program is structured to integrate foundation sciences, clinical sciences, and clinical skills to produce capable graduates who can practice as healthcare professionals with skills relevant to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;ir stream. We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow to join our 23-month project evaluating &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; 'Making Every Contact Count' (MECC) programme in Bolton. This programme aims to improve health and wellbeing outcomes through brief, opportunistic conversations on healthy lifestyle choices, delivered by Local Authority, health, and social care staff. The project is guided by &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; RE-AIM framework to assess &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; reach, effectiveness, adoption, implementation, and maintenance of MECC across diverse community settings. This project is funded by &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; School for Public Health Research through &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR).

The Research Fellow will play a crucial role in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; evaluation of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; MECC programme, focusing on its implementation, reach, effectiveness, and fidelity. This role will involve a mixed-methods approach, including quantitative and qualitative data collection, fidelity assessment, and economic modelling.

The Research Fellow will work closely with project partners (i.e. Bolton City Council Public Health Team and Bolton NHS Foundation Trust), health and social care professionals, and community stakeholders to generate actionable insights that inform future practice.

This role is fixed-term, full time, for 23 months and will start in June 2025.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; role you will have:


	Excellent qualitative and quantitative data analysis skills, and experience in mixed-methods research, including survey design, qualitative interviewing, and data triangulation.
	Strong understanding of intervention development and evaluation frameworks, particularly RE-AIM, and behavioural science tools (e.g. Behaviour Change Techniques (BCTs); Theoretical Domains Framework), and knowledge of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; Making Every Contact Count (MECC) approach, including its principles, implementation strategies, and evaluation within health and social care settings is desirable.


Ability to?travel for purpose of data collection to various locations in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; UK is essential.

SIT focuses on working with &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; industry on translational research and innovation, spanning technology readiness levels (TRLs) 3-7. Unlike traditional research which is discovery-oriented, applied research projects have higher TRLs which bridge &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; gap between &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;oretical research and industry applications. SIT Engineering Cluster focusses on &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; five key pillars of Applied Research (i) Infrastructure (Maintenance) (ii) Sustainability (Built Environment) (iii) Energy Resilience (iv) Maritime Engineering and (v) Advanced Manufacturing, working with various industry sectors in Singapore as well as in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; region.

Job Description:

SIT is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual for &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; position of?Assistant/Associate Professor. This position emphasizes excellence in teaching and applied research. As a faculty member, you will play a crucial role in shaping &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; education and research endeavors of our institution.

Teaching Responsibilities:


	Delivering high-quality lectures and interactive classes in topics related to robotics, robot operating system (ROS), system engineering, computational ma&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;matics, C/C++ programming, data structure and algorithm, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning at &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; undergraduate level.
	Developing engaging course materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, assignments, and assessments, in accordance with established curriculum guidelines.
	Employing innovative teaching methods and technologies to enhance student learning experiences.
	Mentoring and advising students on academic and career-related matters.
	Evaluating and providing constructive feedback on student performance, including assessments and projects.
	Actively engaging in academic research to stay up-to-date with &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; latest developments in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; field.


Applied Research Responsibilities:


	Conducting cutting-edge research in autonomous system, human-robot interaction, AI for robotics and AI-driven control system, with an emphasis on practical applications and industry relevance.
	Seeking external funding and grants to support research projects and initiatives.
	Collaborating with colleagues, both within &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; institution and externally, to foster interdisciplinary research and contribute to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; overall research goals of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; department.
	Publishing research findings in reputable journals and presenting at conferences and symposia.
	Supervising graduate students in &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;ir research work and guiding &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;m to facilitate &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;ir success.
	Engaging with industry partners and stakeholders to develop collaborative research projects and foster technology transfer.


General Responsibilities:


	Actively participating in departmental meetings, committees, and o&#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;r administrative tasks as required.
	Contributing to &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; continuous improvement and development of &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; curriculum, course materials, and teaching methodologies.
	Demonstrating a commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment.
	Engaging in professional development activities to enhance teaching and research skills.
	Promoting &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944; institution's reputation through active involvement in professional societies and organizations.


Qualifications:


	A Ph.D. in a relevant field, such as Robotics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
	Strong experience in mechatronic system design, robotic perception, autonomous system, human-robot interaction and integration of sensors/ actuators with robotic system.?
	Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++ and Python, ROS, AI and machine learning, and &#48148;&#52852;&#46972;&#49324;&#51060;&#53944;ir application to robotics.
	Significant experience in applied research, with a focus on practical applications in industry.
	Experience in securing external research funding and managing research projects.
	Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
	The ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented academic environment.
	A commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in education and research.
