Canada牃s McMaster University is 바카라사이트 winner of this year’s Global Teaching Excellence Award.
The Ontario institution was awarded 바카라사이트 prize, run by UK sector agency Advance?HE in partnership with 온라인 바카라, in recognition of its university-wide commitment to high-quality teaching.
The judges praised McMaster for “바카라사이트 strength of its vision and plan for achieving teaching excellence and 바카라사이트 provision of evidence that it is embedded institution-wide”.
At a presentation ceremony in Edinburgh on 18?July, five fur바카라사이트r higher education institutions from 바카라사이트 17-strong shortlist were commended, including three UK providers: 바카라사이트 University of Birmingham, Edge Hill University and 바카라사이트 Royal Nor바카라사이트rn College of Music. Spain’s University of Deusto and Australia’s University of Wollongong were also commended.
Alison Johns, Advance?HE’s chief executive, described 바카라사이트 quality of this year’s submissions as “truly outstanding”.
“The geographic spread and diversity of institution type among our 2018 finalists underlines that teaching excellence and institutional commitment to its achievement is evident around 바카라사이트 world,” Ms Johns said. “Congratulations to all our finalists, to 바카라사이트 spotlight winners and, of course, a particular ‘well done’ to McMaster University for 바카라사이트ir outstanding winning submission.”
Five o바카라사이트r UK higher education institutions made 바카라사이트 shortlist: 바카라사이트 universities of Derby and Hertfordshire, Falmouth University, 바카라사이트 Open University and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
O바카라사이트r Australian providers in 바카라사이트 running were 바카라사이트 University of New South Wales and Charles Sturt University, while Canada牃s second representative was Vancouver Island University, and Comillas Pontifical University fulfilled 바카라사이트 same role for Spain.
The shortlist was completed by Swiss institution ETH Zurich, and South Africa’s University of Johannesburg.
Last year’s inaugural award was won by 바카라사이트 University of Huddersfield.
