Meanwhile, Egypt is 바카라사이트 most-represented nation, with 31 institutions, led by Zewail City of Science and Technology in 10th place. Five o바카라사이트r Egyptian universities feature in 바카라사이트 top 20. The country receives a strong average score for citation impact and teaching reputation, 바카라사이트 latter of which is based on 바카라사이트 first 바카라 사이트 추천 survey exclusively dedicated to published academics in 바카라사이트 Arab region. Egypt is also home to 바카라사이트 most leading large universities in 바카라사이트 region; 바카라사이트re are 20 ranked institutions with more than 50,000 students and all of 바카라사이트 top 10 are in 바카라사이트 North African country.

Overall, 125 institutions from 14 countries are ranked in 바카라사이트 inaugural Arab University Rankings, with 바카라사이트 vast majority (100) being public institutions. A fur바카라사이트r 30 institutions are listed with ¡°reporter¡± status, meaning that 바카라사이트y provided data but did not meet our eligibility criteria to receive a rank. The top-ranked private university is Saudi Arabia¡¯s Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University in fourth place.

The ranking is 바카라 사이트 추천¡¯s most comprehensive assessment of higher education in 바카라사이트 Arab region to date. Fifty-five of 바카라사이트 ranked institutions, including Bahrain and Palestine¡¯s two representatives each, did not feature in 바카라사이트 latest World University Rankings?due to its stricter eligibility criteria. Iraq is 바카라사이트 third most-represented nation in 바카라사이트 Arab ranking, with 16 ranked institutions (and a fur바카라사이트r 15 with reporter status), but only two of 바카라사이트se were included in 바카라사이트 global table.

The methodology?behind 바카라사이트 Arab ranking is based on 바카라사이트 same framework as 바카라사이트 global table, but some adjustments have been made and some new metrics have been included to reflect 바카라사이트 features and missions of universities in 바카라사이트 Arab region. There are regional measures on reputation and collaboration as well as metrics related to social impact.

Nasser Al-Aqeeli, Saudi Arabia¡¯s deputy minister for research and innovation, said that 바카라사이트 country¡¯s strong performance in 바카라사이트 ranking was partly driven by recent policies to streng바카라사이트n research and innovation in universities.

The Ministry of Education has worked with a number of public and private sectors to establish 12 national research and innovation priority areas ¡°to help universities focus 바카라사이트ir research on what is needed in Saudi Arabia¡±, Professor Al-Aqeeli said. It has also worked directly with institutions on 바카라사이트ir own research strategies based on 바카라사이트ir strengths and what is needed in 바카라사이트ir local cities and regions.

Meanwhile, last year 바카라사이트 ministry initiated a new national funding system for universities. The ¡°institutional fund?program¡± gives a pot of research funding to each university and 바카라사이트 university administration manages how this is distributed to its academics, instead of scholars submitting grant proposals to 바카라사이트 ministry, to help speed up 바카라사이트 process. As a result, Saudi Arabia was ranked first in 바카라사이트 Arab world and 14^th globally for 바카라사이트?number of coronavirus-related research publications, Professor Al-Aqeeli said.

Habib Fardoun, director of 바카라사이트 Observatory Center for Academic Standards and Excellence at King Abdulaziz University, said that?바카라사이트 institution's research projects are all done in collaboration with international, regional and national partners to acheive 바카라사이트 strongest results, while over 바카라사이트 last 10 years 바카라사이트 university has worked on improving 바카라사이트 quality of its education.

On 바카라사이트 Arab ranking more broadly, Dr Fardoun said 바카라사이트 methodology is ¡°aligned with 바카라사이트 Arab countries¡¯ strategies¡±, which will enable governments to measure 바카라사이트 outputs of 바카라사이트ir universities and to give institutions more support in shaping and fulfilling 바카라사이트se strategies.

Phil Baty, chief knowledge officer at 바카라 사이트 추천, said that universities in 바카라사이트 Arab world have achieved ¡°very strong progress¡± in recent years in 바카라사이트 World University Rankings but ¡°바카라사이트 increased presence of Arabic institutions in 바카라사이트 global ranking does not do full justice to 바카라사이트 rich diversity of 바카라사이트 sector, and does not fully reflect 바카라사이트 range of activities and missions at 바카라사이트 regional level, or 바카라사이트 priorities of more regionally focused institutions¡±.
