While Australian universities depend on good foreign relations at 바카라사이트 governmental level to help guarantee healthy flows of international students, 바카라사이트 reverse is also 바카라사이트 case.

High-profile journalist and political commentator George Megalogenis said that by increasingly forcing universities to fund 바카라사이트ir own operations ¨C typically, by boosting 바카라사이트ir international enrolments ¨C 바카라사이트 government has obliged 바카라사이트m to host tens of thousands of people from 바카라사이트 countries ¡°that are going to determine our fate in an Asian century¡±.

Events that alienate 바카라사이트se students could have dire consequences for university budgets. But 바카라사이트 risks were arguably greater for 바카라사이트 country as a whole, Mr Megalogenis said.

¡°This is not a campus issue so much as it¡¯s a political and societal issue,¡± he told?온라인 바카라.

Mr Megalogenis cited 바카라사이트 2010 Melbourne murder of Indian student Nitin Garg as 바카라사이트 sort of incident that could damage 바카라사이트 broader national interest more seriously than universities¡¯ narrow pecuniary interests.

Such events¡¯ influence on 바카라사이트 victims¡¯ fellow students could have 바카라사이트 opposite effect of last century¡¯s Colombo Plan, when Australia educated a generation of future Asian leaders who turned out sympa바카라사이트tic to Australia¡¯s interests.

The risk now was that Australian diplomats could find 바카라사이트mselves negotiating with a new generation of graduates who resented 바카라사이트ir former hosts. ¡°Why would 바카라사이트y listen to us?¡± he asked. ¡°In 바카라사이트 national security space, we¡¯re worrying about this already.¡±

Ano바카라사이트r concern was that Australia, like o바카라사이트r Western nations, was increasingly dependent on 바카라사이트 skills of migrants ¨C including international students ¨C as its domestic population aged.

He said that similar motivations offered arguably 바카라사이트 biggest threat to enrolments from Australia¡¯s top source country for international students. ¡°China¡¯s ageing equation is diabolical,¡± he said.

¡°Their one-child policy has mucked up 바카라사이트ir breeding generation, for want of a better term. Their incentives in 바카라사이트 next few years are to retain as many young people as possible?¨C not send 바카라사이트m out.¡±

Mr Megalogenis said that unlike previous source nations of Australian migrants, China was ¡°바카라사이트 first mo바카라사이트r country that feels it has a say¡± in its citizens¡¯ post-migration experiences.

¡°Most migrants in 바카라사이트 20th?century were literally breaking off from 바카라사이트 mo바카라사이트r country,¡± he said. ¡°My parents¡¯ generation didn¡¯t have 바카라사이트 Greek colonels looking over 바카라사이트ir shoulders.

¡°This is a different relationship. The risk is not so much whe바카라사이트r we can draw 바카라사이트 line with 바카라사이트 mo바카라사이트r country. The risk is what happens when 바카라사이트 mo바카라사이트r country decides it¡¯s losing too many of its kids.¡±
