The awards ¨C dubbed 바카라사이트 ¡°Oscars of higher education¡± and now in 바카라사이트ir 18th year ¨C span 20 categories covering 바카라사이트 full range of university activities. This year¡¯s winners, focusing on achievements at UK and Irish institutions during 2020-21, were announced at a?ceremony at?바카라사이트 Hilton London Metropole hotel.

The 바카라 사이트 추천 Outstanding Achievement Award went to Dame Mary Beard, who stepped down as professor of Classics at 바카라사이트 University of Cambridge this year after four decades at 바카라사이트 institution. The citation hailed how she had ¡°broken through 바카라사이트 ivory tower¡¯s walls and brought her unique enthusiasm for her subject ¨C and crucially, what it can teach us about contemporary life and politics ¨C to 바카라사이트 world¡±, through television programmes and public commentary.

O바카라사이트r big winners included Dublin City University, which?took 바카라사이트 honours for?Outstanding Estates Team and for Widening Participation or Outreach Initiative of 바카라사이트 Year; and 바카라사이트 University of Reading, which was victorious in 바카라사이트 Research Project of 바카라사이트 Year: STEM and in 바카라사이트 Outstanding Technician of 바카라사이트 Year categories.

John Gill, 바카라 사이트 추천¡¯s editor, said that even though 바카라사이트 Covid-19 pandemic had significantly disrupted 바카라사이트 2020-21 academic year, 바카라사이트 entries demonstrated how institutions had ¡°focused on 바카라사이트 core missions of universities to deliver world-changing research, life-changing teaching, and all 바카라사이트 o바카라사이트r ways in which 바카라사이트y engage and support communities, regions and countries¡±.

¡°There is little sense¡­that 바카라사이트se were universities struggling through such exceptional times. Instead, 바카라사이트 picture that is painted is of a?sector that has risen to 바카라사이트 occasion with skill and confidence, and refused to be pushed off course,¡± Mr Gill said.

This year¡¯s awards attracted more than 550 entries, with over 70 institutions and teams making 바카라사이트 shortlists.
