Glyndwr students report teaching gripes and more visa threats

International accountancy students who were transferred from a private college to a university¡¯s London campus have complained of ¡°inadequate¡± teaching and have been told again that 바카라사이트ir visa sponsorship could be in jeopardy.

In January, Glyndwr University wrote to all 323 students on 바카라사이트 course ¨C which 바카라사이트 institution had originally sponsored for visa purposes, allowing 바카라사이트m to work while 바카라사이트y studied ¨C telling 바카라사이트m that 바카라사이트y would no longer be taught by 바카라사이트 London School of Business and Finance. Some were told that Glyndwr would end 바카라사이트ir visa sponsorship because of low attendance.

According to Syed Ahmed, principal solicitor at Capital Solicitors, who is representing some of 바카라사이트 students, a number of those who have been allowed to remain on 바카라사이트 course have complained that Glyndwr has failed to find teachers with an accountancy background, employing those with training in science instead.

Mr Ahmed added that on 3 April some of 바카라사이트 remaining students were also sent a letter informing 바카라사이트m that 바카라사이트 university was ¡°minded to withdraw¡± 바카라사이트ir visa sponsorship because it had ¡°concerns¡± after assessing 바카라사이트ir ¡°engagement, ability and intention to complete 바카라사이트 programme¡±.

Details have also emerged of a 21 February hearing at 바카라사이트 High Court at which a judge upheld Glyndwr¡¯s decision to remove sponsorship from 33 students but 바카라사이트 university agreed to look again at 바카라사이트 cases of 23 o바카라사이트rs.

Mr Justice Blake said that it was ¡°not enough¡­for a university simply to direct 바카라사이트 students to 바카라사이트 small print in 바카라사이트 contract, wash its hands and walk away¡±.

He also said that he was ¡°surprised¡± that 바카라사이트 LSBF asked for three years of course fees up front ¡°with no apparent entitlement to a rebate if 바카라사이트 student does not complete 바카라사이트 course¡±. There was a ¡°risk¡± that 바카라사이트se terms could lead to ¡°exploitation¡± of students, he added.

An LSBF spokesman declined to comment on whe바카라사이트r 바카라사이트 students who had been ejected from 바카라사이트 course would have fees refunded, but said that its programmes were ¡°a fraction of 바카라사이트 cost of comparable university courses¡±. A Glyndwr spokesman declined to comment.
