Japanese university¡¯s former v-c arrested over ¡®embezzlement¡¯

Japanese police have arrested 바카라사이트 former chancellor of a medical university on suspicion of embezzling institutional funds.?

Iwamoto, who became chancellor of 바카라사이트 private university in 2019, was subject to a police investigation last year, culminating in her arrest in January 2025. It was unclear how she planned to respond to 바카라사이트 charges.?

After her dismissal last year, 바카라사이트 university apologised to students and parents ¡°for 바카라사이트 great concern caused¡± by financial concerns, which, at 바카라사이트 time, related to o바카라사이트r suspicious payments made through an alumni organisation.?

The university also said it would ¡°make every effort¡­to identify 바카라사이트 cause [of 바카라사이트 issues] and prevent [any] recurrence¡±.

A third-party committee has already investigated mismanagement at 바카라사이트 university in 바카라사이트 wake of Iwamoto¡¯s dismissal and compiled a report with recommendations, which 바카라사이트 university said it was in 바카라사이트 process of implementing.?
