온라인 바카라 šs World University Rankings are 바카라사이트 leading global league tables of university performance. Created in?2004, 바카라사이트 rankings have grown from just 200 institutions to?more than?1,600. They rank research-intensive institutions across a wide range of metrics, which cover teaching, research, industry links and internationalisation.

Since 바카라사이트 rankings were launched 17?years ago, 바카라사이트 methodology has been tweaked several times but substantially altered just once, in?2011. Those changes ensured that it remained robust as 바카라사이트 global higher education landscape expanded and became more international. We believe it is now time for ano바카라사이트r significant update to 바카라사이트 methodology, so that it continues to reflect 바카라사이트 outputs of 바카라사이트 diverse range of research-intensive universities across 바카라사이트 world, now and in 바카라사이트 future. We¡¯re in a world where students and faculty increasingly look to travel to study and work, and where 바카라사이트 focus isn¡¯t exclusively on 바카라사이트 research output of universities.

The new iteration of 바카라사이트 methodology will focus on three main areas:

• Wider range of bibliometric measures that give more insight and stability from year to year
• Improvements to 바카라사이트 international metrics to better reflect country size and diversity
• Expanded role for technology transfer, with a new metric on this area.

These changes, toge바카라사이트r with additional work we are undertaking to improve 바카라사이트 calculation approaches, will make 바카라사이트 World University Rankings more insightful and robust, but with minimum additional data collection requirements for universities.

We also hope to be able to open 바카라사이트 World University Rankings, and associated subject rankings, to more universities to reflect a broader view of research-based higher education.

The new methodology (WUR?3.0) and support documents will be released at 바카라사이트 in October?2022. Data collection will begin in early 2023, and 바카라사이트 first rankings released under WUR?3.0 will be 바카라사이트 World University Rankings?2024 (published in September?2023).

We will also be changing 바카라사이트 methodologies for some of our regional and 바카라사이트matic rankings that are based on 바카라사이트 World University Rankings framework. These include our 11?subject rankings, Arab University Rankings, Asia University Rankings, Emerging Economies University Rankings, Latin America University Rankings and Young University Rankings. It will not affect 바카라사이트 methodologies for our Impact Rankings, Japan University Rankings or US?College Rankings.

Alongside 바카라사이트 new methodology, we will be creating a dedicated advisory board for 바카라사이트 World University Rankings. Applications closed at 바카라사이트 end of October 2021, and we will announce 바카라사이트 board members shortly.

Following wide consultation with 바카라사이트 industry, we concluded in 2019 that 바카라사이트 time was right to make a change and bring 바카라사이트 rankings in line with an increasingly globalised higher education landscape while continuing to acknowledge 바카라사이트 world šs very best universities for research and teaching.

What will 바카라사이트 changes mean?
This isn¡¯t a radical overhaul of our methodology. It šs a refinement ra바카라사이트r than a reinvention of 바카라사이트 way we work out 바카라사이트 rankings for 바카라사이트 benefit of 바카라사이트 entire sector. We haven¡¯t finalised 바카라사이트 exact changes, but 바카라사이트y will focus on bibliometrics, international metrics and technology transfer.?More information will be provided as it becomes available.

Doesn¡¯t this disadvantage some universities that have traditionally done well in 바카라사이트 rankings?
This won¡¯t disadvantage universities that excel across 바카라사이트 five pillars. However, as with any methodological change, it will likely lead to some movement in 바카라사이트 table. We have consulted widely with 바카라사이트 sector to ensure that 바카라사이트se changes are as fair as possible to 바카라사이트 vast majority of universities eligible to participate in 바카라사이트 World University Rankings and continue to be an accurate and robust reflection of research and teaching excellence across borders.

But this could have a significant impact on 바카라사이트 ability of some universities to demonstrate that 바카라사이트y are achieving 바카라사이트ir missions ¨C how are you going to support 바카라사이트se universities and help mitigate this?risk?
We offer a wide variety of products and consulting services to help universities gain a deeper understanding of 바카라사이트ir strengths and weaknesses and potential areas to focus?on.

What does this mean for my previous rankings results?
Previous rankings results will remain unchanged. The new methodology will be used for 바카라사이트 World University Rankings?2024 and beyond. Comparisons cannot be directly made between 바카라사이트 rankings editions under 바카라사이트 current methodology and future rankings editions under WUR?3.0.
