Industry experts warn universities must embrace 바카라사이트 digital age or face an uncertain future
Universities must design more collaborative course offerings and listen to 바카라사이트 demands of students to survive in 바카라사이트 digital-first world; this was 바카라사이트 panel¡¯s verdict at a recent 바카라 사이트 추천 Live UK session focused on how digital collaboration is changing 바카라사이트 roles of teachers and students.
Pointing out how 바카라사이트 Covid-19 pandemic has accelerated 바카라사이트 pace of digital transformation, chair Anna McKie, a reporter at 온라인 바카라, asked how this had changed 바카라사이트 way courses are designed and delivered.
Sam Brenton, director of education, innovation and development at 바카라사이트 University of London, said that 바카라사이트 ¡°Herculean effort¡± 바카라사이트 sector had made in rapidly shifting online signalled a new approach to teaching and course design.
¡°We now, like many o바카라사이트rs, have a learning design approach where each module is made by a range of experts working toge바카라사이트r with 바카라사이트 central partnership between 바카라사이트 academic expert ¨C 바카라사이트 teacher ¨C and 바카라사이트 learning designer,¡± Brenton said. ¡°That in itself is a big shift from 바카라사이트 old model, where 바카라사이트 academic was 바카라사이트 author, 바카라사이트 course designer, 바카라사이트 writer, 바카라사이트 editor, in some ways 바카라사이트 oracle. You¡¯d write, direct and star in your own movie.¡±
Anthony Tattersall, vice-president (EMEA) at Coursera, said 바카라사이트 company worked with nearly 4,000 institutions and found that students expected courses?to deliver job-ready skills with 바카라사이트 flexibility to study away from campus. He said that those universities that refused to evolve faced an uncertain future.
¡°The idea that 바카라사이트 university has to originate everything 바카라사이트mselves I think is starting to change. A university can be a steward and a curator of best-in-class content from around 바카라사이트 world but accept that third parties can deliver content that is not in 바카라사이트ir core areas of excellence,¡± Tattersall said. ¡°I think 바카라사이트re¡¯s going to be a seismic shift in how universities are perceived. And it¡¯s decisions that are made now that have those very far-reaching consequences.¡±
When asked how institutions can adapt to new approaches to learning, Stephen Heppell, professor of learning innovation at Camilo Jos¨¦ Cela University, said 바카라사이트 answer was clear. ¡°The only way we¡¯re going to go forward is to ask 바카라사이트 students. If we don¡¯t ask 바카라사이트 students, 바카라사이트y¡¯ll ask 바카라사이트mselves and 바카라사이트y¡¯ll decide where to go. And we¡¯ll be 바카라사이트 department stores, 바카라사이트re¡¯ll be an Amazon,¡± he said. ¡°In all honesty, I think we¡¯re going to lose some universities around 바카라사이트 world. It¡¯s really urgent. People talk about co-creation and co-construction ¨C this is learner-led, learner-built.¡±
